Yesterday we travelled through to Edenvale to watch the junior and senior Sea Scouts compete in their yearly canoe polo tournament. They are actually playing in an old quarry that has filled up with water. Both Erin and Caiden took part and it was wonderful to watch them work together with their teammates, deciding on different strategies and game plans. They are exhausted, stiff and sunburned today (even though they applied copious amounts of sun block) but so thrilled with their experience! I can honestly say that joining Sea Scouts has enriched our children’s lives tremendously, they love it and have learned SO much.
Have a wonderful week:)

That looks like great fun! What a great experience for them.

what a wonderful experiance, they must have slept well that night too!
I don’t think we have sea scouts here. How interesting. And the water – very nice. Our only water is our huge, grungy lake – very shallow, and so dangerous when the wind comes up, and our river, which is very narrow, very deep and very fast. I like playing in water.
How wonderful for the kids to have so much fun. And it looks like such a nice day. I remember those –

Skill-building while having fun–that’s the best way to learn enat stuff like this. Good job Mom with picture editing and writing and thanks Mother Earth for a beautiful day.
