Frederick the Warthog Pattern is Live and a Giveaway

Warthog Pattern 1

Warthog Pattern 2

Warthog Pattern 3

Hello:)

Today is a very exciting day!

My Frederick the Warthog pattern has gone live on Ravelry and Etsy. We had a wonderful test knit on my Ravelry group this past weekย  and the knitters will be linking their warthog projects over the course of today and tomorrow. The behind the scenes work on this project has been doubly fun because it’s the first time that I have had the pleasure of working with a technical knitting editor. Her name is Clare Devine and what a breath of fresh air it has been to work with her. Clare has used her expertise and technical knowledge and produced a really beautifully formatted pattern document with gorgeous detail. It looks just like I had envisioned, right down to the little warthog hoofprints trotting around the page!

Giveaway:

I am offering 2 Frederick the Warthog patterns as a giveaway, if you would like to enter, please leave a comment and to earn extra entries, Tweet, Pin or Facebook about this giveaway. Leave an extra comment each time you share:) The winners will be announced on Friday.

Congratulations to:

I have never seen a warthog before you showed a picture of Frederick. Apparently I am sadly lacking in my knowledge of African animals. And this from someone who wanted to be a veterinarian when I entered college. Sadly, in those days the profession did not welcome women so I became a chemist instead. A good thing because I developed an allergy to cats in my early 30’s. Would love the pattern so I could get a good look at a warthog – do they have warts?

  35. Julie December 19, 2012 at 3:59 am #

Great pattern. I would love a chance to win it. Thanks and Happy Holidays.

My Mum would love me to knit her very own warthog! She loved learning all about them and hearing their amusing grunting noises when she visited S.A. last April.
