Hello:)
Today is a very exciting day!
My Frederick the Warthog pattern has gone live on Ravelry and Etsy. We had a wonderful test knit on my Ravelry group this past week and the knitters will be linking their warthog projects over the course of today and tomorrow. The behind the scenes work on this project has been doubly fun because it’s the first time that I have had the pleasure of working with a technical knitting editor. Her name is Clare Devine and what a breath of fresh air it has been to work with her. Clare has used her expertise and technical knowledge and produced a really beautifully formatted pattern document with gorgeous detail. It looks just like I had envisioned, right down to the little warthog hoofprints trotting around the page!

I can still see the camels with their owners as my bus went past them in Jerusalem!
You’ve once again done an amazing animal!
I like that it’s knit flat – since dpns are still scary to me.
Winning this pattern would be great – and a sweet memory of my trip to Israel in March
AND
Who couldn’t use a camel in their stable? He looks quite regal and ready to lead the way!
As soon as you send your email addresses to lindadawkins@mweb.co.za I will send the patterns through:)
