Saturday

Jenna and Erin have been tracing some of Kye’s drawings onto fabric and embroidering them, I think they are so sweet. All his pictures are hanging up on one of the walls in our school room. They are such happy little pictures…

Today I have finished a new Snowdrop pattern, you can find it here.

Wishing you a peaceful weekend.
Warmly
Linda

Love the idea. My children are grown but I’ll have to remember that for eventual grandchildren. Adorable!

Does it get any sweeter than that? Embroidering Kye’s drawings. I may do that for my daughter, daughter-in-love, and my 2 daycare moms. What a lovely gift for Mother’s Day. I was going to have the children plant tomato seeds this week. I think we will add this to our gift. GREAT IDEA!!!!!! Thank you for you creative mind, AGAIN! Love the Snowdrop. That will go nice with my Daffodil. Haven’t started it yet. What yarn do you use?

I love it that the girls are doing this. I have saved my own children’s art with two ideas in mind: to make a quilt for each, appliqueing pieces based on their drawings to each block. Or simply scanning their drawings and putting them into a book for each. But those projects are in queue and heaven only known when I will have a real chance to do them.

I have real snowdrops coming up in the front planner. How I love them. And your pattern is, as is always the case, lovely.

That is a lovely idea to stitch Kye’s drawings, they make perfect decoration for the school room and so much nicer to keep now that all 3 have had an input into them. 🙂
