Today has been an exceptionally hot day, so hot that Sandy and the girls took to the green pool. It really should be sparkling blue but after all the rain we have been having, I’m finding it difficult to keep up with all that needs to be done to keep it that way… Soon though, soon:)
I wanted to share an update about recycling packets onto our fruit trees to keep the birds at bay. It really worked well!! These nectarines are almost ready and we have plenty of fruit! Yay!!
The raspberries are almost ripe, we are going to have a bumper crop this year, can’t wait!!
Our Elderflower tree is full of blossoms, I really want to make elderflower cordial, but I want to add, perhaps a little fresh orange juice to the mix, I found it just a little strong last time I made it, any suggestions?
PS If you haven’t entered the beautiful yarn giveaway yet from Carle’ at Nurturing Fibres go here.
Have a lovely afternoon, I will be feverishly knitting on my friend’s cowl, her birthday is tomorrow and I had to frog just a little of it to add another colourway and then I will be knitting smoothly again, wish me luck!
