We are off to a good week, we’ve been doing quite a lot of work in the garden, re-potting plants and we have a guava tree now, I hope it survives our frosts in the winter months. I’ve been designing a cowl pattern, I knitted it up a while ago but never wrote the pattern down, so now I’ve been retracing my stitches and it’s almost finished, I’ll share more about that tomorrow.
Jen starts her grade 10 final exams on Thursday but she really isn’t well today at all, I’m holding thumbs she’ll recover quickly and be able to write.

Lovely photos, Linda! I am pleased for your son he is cycling – as we live in Cambridge, we cycle all the time. Great fun!

I’m so thrilled he’s riding now and the cowl should be finished soon, just need to have a quick test knit and then it will be ready.

Best to Jen, hope she’s feeling right soon. Your blossoms and baby fruit stimulate the grower in me; our summer harvest had good spots and questions !~! This week is lap loom weaving-I’m playing with hand-dyed roving, silk, cotton and merino wool in subtle greens and blues–sky and water. Cheers Kye, riding a two-wheeler is one of life’s most delicious skill accomplishments.
