I quickly knitted up a little Christmas tree star ornament this morning, I’ve been thinking about knitting some for a few days now, so I though today would be as good a day as any. I love its five balanced points and I’ll be happy to share the pattern here on my blog if you’d like to give knitting it a try. Just let me know in the comments and then I’ll post it here soon:)
I’m also busy with a new Mamma4earth pattern, guess what it is! (Nicole Spring any ideas???) xx
I’ve been enjoying the James Herriot books, they really are so sweet. My mom is reading them too.
Joining in with Ginny today for the Yarn Along.
It is down to James Herriot (real name Alf White) That I do the job I do in the country I now live. As a child I read them in Zimbabwe and now living and working not far from where he was based – I can genuinely credit him with my career!

Love the star. I have only crocheted stars before and would love to do this. Love your reading material. Both my husband and I are originally from England and we have lived in the USA since 1976. We still love James Herriot books and have our little stack here. Hope you post the pattern.
The star is lovely. I would enjoy knitting them for packages as well as hanging on a tree.
The John Herriot books are fun to read. Both my boys really enjoyed them too.
I love this star. It is so much better for gift boxes than the clunky stars I have.
Of course we want to try it.
The point is to do things we haven’t done before
Thank you.
my husband loved the Herriot series and frequently refers to the stories. We have been watching the pbs show on netflix! Lovely star 🙂
