I knitted a little elf for someone, I adapted my Christmas gnome pattern and just needle felted on eyes, a mouth and buttons, he’s on his way to his new home now to be a Kindness Elf.
Our tree went up on the 1st, my mom-in-law gave us the most beautiful vintage decorations that she’s had for years and Kye really enjoyed unwrapping them and finding a special place for each one on the tree. I still can’t believe it’s the 4th of December today??
Since Kye started riding, we try to go out every day, he loves it!
These beautiful Hydrangeas were flowering in my mom’s garden, she gave me a bouquet of blue flowers and then I added pinks that are flowering in my garden at the moment. I love having fresh flowers on my diningroom table, it makes me feel happy each time I see them. My Richard is away on a business trip and will only be back on Friday, I miss him…
Hope your week is lovely so far.
How cute is THAT? The elf AND the kids!
Best,
Sheila

Precious elf. Your tree looks beautiful! Very nice to see the boys and riding bikes in the sunshine. We are into coldness and rain. I just spent 3 days on the farm with Adam and did farm chores all day. I even tried to milk the goats, without success though. I was sad about that; I thought I would be a natural! I will need more time to learn. Talk to you soon. 🙂
I love seeing your Southern Hemisphere Christmas preparations. It is so cold and dark here, it is a treat to see the sunshine and flowers in your post!
Love the elf! I must teach myself to needle felt….
Elf has character!
I still can’t get past the fact that it will be the summer solstice there for you all soon. And your tree is sooo tall. We’ve got a 2 and 4 year old and have a tiny tiny tree for them.
