The Sherpa Hat 14

The Sherpa Hat 15

The Sherpa Hat test knit has been going very well, I love all the beautiful hats that I see each morning when I go onto the group. If you’d like to pop over to the thread and have a look go here. I’m knitting up this charcoal Sherpa Hat for Richard, next week, he leaves for 5 days to go on his Sani 2 Sea mountain biking adventure. He has been training for months and it’s going to be freezing!

Knitted Animals, toys

Giraffes, Lions and Elephants have been knitted, they need to be stuffed and finished off.

Sunny Days Shawlette

My Sunny Days Shawlette from Nurturing Fibres, is coming along nicely, I just need to check on the amount of stitches and then start the edging. There are so many projects I want to get going with but then I’m sure I’d have too many surely? How many do you usually have on the go at a time? I want to cast on for an Owl and a bathmat soon…

Reading The Lord of the Rings to the boys and I’m still enjoying books by The Yarn Harlot.

Joining with Ginny today.

Loving the charcoal shade for this hat! I sometimes think it’s possible to become a little over inspired – soooo many projects, so little time, aghh! I am anxious to start the Sunny Days shawlette but am also working on a big project at the moment too..oh, then there are the fingerless mitts to make and a scarf for the youngest and so the list goes on….!

Thank you for inviting me to test knit – it was so much fun! 🙂
