I have been spinning up luxury yarns and also hand painting Merino yarn and having so much fun:) I don’t really post much about my shop, but it is a large part of my life and I really enjoy recording my progress here on my blog. I have been hand painting skeins and skeins of rainbow yarn and I just love it! All of these new yarns have been listed on my Mamma4earth shop, some have sold and others are still there:) Thanks so much to all who visit:)

Heidi is right, of course. What does “double knit” mean, Linda? I saw it at our little shop yesterday and wondered.
Now, I’m not sure that went through, so I’m going to try posting it again.
Heidi is right, of course. Gorgeous.
But I am wondering what double knit means – I saw it at our little shop yesterday when I was looking for (apologetically) Christmas horse yarn. But I don’t know what it means –
Thanks K:)
DK is thicker than Sport weight and thinner than Worsted yarn. Here is a nice comparison table with the types and weights of yarn.

So many lovely yarns, Linda! You’ve done a wonderful job. I especially love the rainbows. 🙂
If I could, I’d buy up all of your yarn. Such lovely colors.
Oh – Oh NOW I get it. DK means “double knit.” Slapping forehead. Will I ever learn? Thank you for the link, by the way.
