Happy Spring to everyone in the South! We have been experiencing the most splendid weather for the last couple of weeks and today, I think it’s going to rain, I literally can’t wait for a good thunder storm, that’s one of my favourite things!! This Clivia has just been transplanted to our new little rock garden under our Oak tree and is flowering profusely, I think the move did it good and doesn’t seem to have been affected at all by being transplanted.
We have wonderful storm clouds brewing, the air outside is quiet and still, almost electric.
Our fruit trees are in bloom, this is one of our pear pollinators, I’m looking forward to pears and it seems that our Cherry tree will bear fruit for the first time this year!
I’ve started growing spinach and peppers in the flower box just outside our kitchen window. The Mousebirds always seem to eat my spinach right down to the ground but not this year, they’ve left it alone so far.
Herbs and veggies growing outside the kitchen door.
Have a lovely week 🙂

Your plants are absolutely beautiful! We will be going into fall here. Time to go into knitting overdrive!
It all looks so beautiful. I love it. Happy spring
