I have been in the grip of a relentless gastric flu bug for the past few days. I have spent more time lying down on the couch than I would care to admit! Resting isn’t really something I do well, it should be right??… there is just far too much to be done here, it can wait though… I must admit, I feel very grateful right now, to lay down my head and let the waves of sinus and nausea pass…
I did manage to venture out into the garden today briefly, look up at the sky and and see the most wonderful cloud patterns, I thought, I must get my camera and share them here with you…
Within a few minutes they had all dissipated…
I will be taking it a little slower around here for a day or so, I think that is what my body is trying to tell me and no matter how hard I fight against resting, I think I am going to listen and r e l a x (just for a short while, I know it’s important:)…. Richard and the children have been wonderful and I am so grateful for having such a caring family.
I will see all you lovely people back here on Monday xo xo

Hope you feel better soon my friend! xxx
The patern in the clouds look just like fingerprints. Hope you get well soon. No flu here (yet).
Oh I hope you feel better soon!.. a caring family is surely the best to recover! (wow the sky is beautiful!)

The cloud pictures are so pretty! Rest up and feel better soon. : )
I hope you feel better very soon! We know it’s important to rest, but people like us just want to keep moving! (And how can you blame us?!)
Use this time for knitting! : ) That always makes me feel a little better. I hope your Multnomah is good company! : )
So sorry to hear that Linda. Wishing you some good rest and speedy recovery. The cloud patterns look so fluid, like water.
Hope you are better asap! 🙂

Listen to your body and your family…REST!
The clouds look like fingerprints almost.
Fascinating patterns. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything quite like it. Actually, the pictures look like you shot down on the surface of active water.
I think the wisest thing to do is lie down and surrender to the moment. “The Lord maketh me to lie down beside the still waters.” Sometimes he does, you know. And it’s for our own good that we rest.
Get well soon 🙂
I hope you rested well over the weekend. And Monday finds you feeling much better.
those are beautiful clouds linda, but i hope you watch them from the comfort of your couch, well resting and healing. feel better.
xoxo
Listen to your body, rest is good and healing xx
Like K said, I’ve never seen such cloud patterns either. Wow!
You are wise to listen to your body. Rest well.
