We are greeted by many rainbows all over our classroom walls each morning as the sun shines through a crystal hanging in the window…
My Shalom is almost finished, it has been such an enjoyable project that has taken much longer than I anticipated. It has been a journey and I think that is the important part for me… so much has happened since I started knitting this cardigan and when I wear it, I know I will reflect on all those moments and experiences during its creation process…
Kye has been loving this tea set, we have all been served copious cups of tea to drink, so sweet:)
Some of Erin’s colour mixing experiments… It is so magical to see the different colours suspended and then slowly mixing within the water…
Jen is busy learning about the art of the short story and this book has been a wonderful resource.
Caiden has been working on his tree house in the Loquat tree, he has built it all by himself and is tremendously proud of his work, as am I.
How has your Thursday been so far?
Take care
Linda xo

Oh my! That chicken has just made herself at home, hasn’t she?
Love the way the cat is looking at the chicken!
Stunning post my friend. Your life looks glorious!!! I am so battling with the school pressures that the kids have, trying to get them to study for tests etc is a nightmare! Hope you have a lovely weekend 🙂
Love the look on the cat’s face and the colors mixing in the water.
The thought of the chickens popping in and out made me laugh! Ours are not so friendly, possibly because they were purchased as pullets and also perhaps my little boys love to chase them about!
My Thursday is over and we are into Friday which is a glorious sunny day!! Thursday was windy and rainy but with a beautiful rainbow in the late afternoon – just like yours! Love that boys tree house. I reckon he’d get on well with my builder boy!
amazing tree house!!! i want to come learn at your house with chickens and cats on he table. can’t wait to see the shalom when it’s done.
Beautiful pictures – rainbows are almost everywhere I look lately! Loving the chook on the book and your cardigan looks so soft – hope spring has some chill in the air so you can wear it.

I LOVE Loquats!
I also LOVE chickens and many folk seem to be teasing me with their posts at the moment…
We’re in house hunting mode. Perhaps it’s a sign of things to come…
unrelated PS – your knitted snowdrop is beautiful!
The tree house is amazing, my boys will be inspired when I show them! Great job Caiden! I love the look of pussy’s face with the chicken standing on the table LOL 🙂
Your beautiful home and Home school is filled with creativity Linda… Imagine! 😉
Blessings, Debbie
Of all the photos, your knitting was super peaceful to look at but…the chicken and the cat on the homework table is a riot. LOVE IT.
Hi, I really get SO much from your beautiful blog. I linked to my blog up on the creative friday, and though I have do not yet have wonderful tutorials or lesson plans to offer, you can see I have had to use my creativity! to see the “wood” in Hollywood, where we live, sign and all.
Blessings and thanks, Betsy
What I wouldn’t give to have a hen drop in from time to time! 🙂 Just wanted to let you know that I gave you The Versatile Blogger Award today…head over to my place to see what you’ve won! 😉
Oh yes please put me in. I have several crystals hanging…I just love being covered in rainbows. I love the schooling set up with the cat and chicken. Your son has done an amazing job…he looks like he is surrounded by fairies. You have inspired me to start a shalom after I finish Alex’s and Trinity’s sweater.
