WIP Wednesday… The Milo Vest…

I have been knitting on this Milo vest, off of Ravelry, for Kye since the weekend… I love it. It is knitted completely in the round and just look at the clever neck and shoulder straps, no seaming… how wonderful!! There are so many other things I should be doing right now, but I just can’t resist the temptation to knit on this project, I am sure I am not alone in thinking this, am I? Knitting is so much more fun than… unpacking the dishwasher… isn’t it? Oh I definately think so:) I just have a few more rows to go and then I think I will cast on for another in a different colourway. I am knitting this vest in Colourspun DK Cotton. I also love the very subtle cable that runs down the one side… too sweet…

Oh most definetly! I’d rather knit anyday than do those things mundane things which must be done but……. yeah. Knitting is way funner.

I’m all over no seams! If a sweater calls for no seaming, I’m all over it!

    Love the yarn!!

I think you are very brave, knitting clothing. But just now, it strikes me that using larger needles means that you are not necessarily making more stitches than you would making a horse or a lion – just using more yarn. This project looks interesting – I am intrigued at the mitered shoulder areas, and some day, I want to try a cable. Well done – and the yarn is lovely.

I bought this pattern recently. I LOVE the yarn you chose. It is just so beautiful. I have three boys, and hope to make them all similar milos this spring. We’ll see!
