Dyeing Workshop

Today was an amazing day! My friend Sue and I drove through to Heidelberg and attended a wonderful dyeing workshop at the Colourspun Studio with Carle’ of Nurturing Fibres. It was lovely, we met quite a few people off of Ravelry and had a grand day dyeing yarn together…

Colourspun Studio

I bought this cotton from Colourspun and I have decided to use it to make Kye a Milo Vest, a sweet pattern off of Ravelry. I have already cast on and I am so looking forward to knitting tonight:)

Tomorrow I will be hosting a yarn giveaway from Colourspun, have a wonderful day xo Linda

Heidelberg? Is there a Heidelberg in SouthAfrica? I didn’t know that. Looks like a really fun place to do go to!

Like Rachel needs another thing to fall in love with. I can see that she and I live in the wrong hemisphere. That yard seems delicious. I want to join the giveaway. I will try to stay awake long enough to throw in my lot. Can’t wait to see the vest.

Oh, Linda, what fun! I must find some tutorials on “kitchen dying” yarn and do some up for a Milo myself. I have been wanting to knit one, but putting it off waiting to purchase “the right yarn”. Now you have me thinking to make the right yarn myself.
