I light three candles on the wreath, all made of holly green
For birds and beasts, both large and least,
Three candles now are seen
We await on earth the holy birth, and upon the boughs of green.

Your Sandy has gotten so big! I wish I’d been able to gather an armful of her as a fat, fluffy baby. And quite frankly, I wish I were as asleep right now as she is in that image. Your advent wreath treasures are lovely. I have a soft spot for cardinals. Especially at this time of year.
