I have been having so much fun lately, I don’t often spoil myself, but the other day it was our 13th wedding anniversary and Richard and I spent the morning together and went for lunch and did a little shopping, these are a few of the goodies I found….
I came across these cotton tray cloths and I fell in love with them….
This was such a treasure find, I was at a thrift book shop, I adore books, and I was looking in the craft section and came across this book on spinning wool. I hardly paid anything for it and I really need this book as I am embarking on the world of spinning and I can’t wait to learn all about it.
I absolutely had to blog these handmade bags that I bought from a local South African Etsy shop, they are so beautiful! Her shop is called, The Wren, http://thewren.etsy.com she makes the most divine bags, her workmanship is superb and her customer service is outstanding, please visit her shop and you will see what I mean….

You have some great finds! I really love Kye’s chair and the etsy bags from The Wren. Good stuff.
First of all, Happy Anniversary! 13 years…that is just wonderful.
Second of all, that knitting bag you picked up is just scrumptious!
Happy Anniversary! Love the spining book and hope you have a wonderful time embracing spinning if you do some this weekend. Most of the wool I spin is from rare breeds. What treasures you found in all. We love our rooibos here too. Have a lovely weekend Linda.
Best wishes.
Hi Joy, Tammy and Kelly, thanks for the anniversary wishes! That knitting bag is lovely Tammy and Joy, that little chair is too sweet. Kelly, I am going to try and spin this weekend, so wish me luck! Wow you spin with wool from rare breeds, that sounds amazing! Have a great weekend everyone, lots of love to you all…
Hi
Thanks for the great feedback. 🙂 I am so glad that the bags arrived safely and that you are so happy
with them. 🙂
WOW is all I can say about you spinning your own wool. Sleeping beauty comes to mind straight away.
What wonderful thrift finds! Love the dear little stool especially. Congratulations on your anniversary. Glad to hear that I am not the only one that is always ‘bringing her knitting bag along’ 😉
Happy Anniversary! You sure found some great treasures while shopping. I love the tray cloths.
