The Guardian Owl Pattern and a Giveaway

The Guardian Owl5

The Guardian Owl7

The Guardian Owl8

The Guardian Owl9

Hello friends,

Just a quick post to let you know that The Guardian Owl’s pattern is for sale on Ravelry.

He is a large and plump fella that loves to be held and carried around and is also a great comfort to anyone in need of some love and kindness.

His height is 9 inches tall.

I have knitted him in a bulky yarn and he has been test knitted in worsted and chunky yarns too. The chunky yarn owl I knitted is 10.5 inches tall and is also wonderful as a doorstop or scatter cushion.

He is knitted totally in the round on circular needles with the magic loop technique but can also be knitted with dpns. The wings are sewn on individually. This is such a quick project.

I have used buttons for the eyes and beak but would advise sewing the eyes and beak with yarn instead if this project is for a small child.

Giveaway:

I’m giving away 2 Guardian Owl patterns, please leave a comment here if you would like to win one. The winners will be announced on Friday.

Congratulations to:

Jeanne and Violetta:)

This is so cute, and I’ve already acquired two guinea fowl knitted by Linda. The one she sent to my mom was so creatively packaged it was extra special.

My problem is: I know how to knit, but picking up lost stitches is hell for me. Can anybody guide me to a video that where you can really see everything?

Once I do that, I’d love to buy the patterns here,

    Beautiful and thanks!

    Lore
