I have been working on a few flower patterns, this one is for a Poppy, the pattern will be ready soon.
An E-book for these flower patterns and more is going to be happening soon:) I have signed up with bookbaby and I’m VERY excited, what a lovely publishing company!
My Circumnavigate cowl is coming along nicely. Can’t wait to wear it!!
My little Hippo is almost complete, I have been typing out all my patterns on my I-Pad, have I mentioned how much I love this little piece on technology? It has made pattern writing so much easier for me:)
What have you been working on this week?
PS There is a REALLY HUGE giveaway on my blog from the Natural Kids Team, just go here to see it!
Flowers?!!! Linda, you have just spoken to my heart and I can’t wait to get my hands on your pattern!
Have a great yarn along day!
Thanks Tracey:)
What apps do you love most for your iPad. I use mine, but tend to reach for the laptop more often. So many patterns. You are very productive with your time!
Hi Heather,
I love to read my magazines, like Molly Makes etc… on my iPad, books, I still like to hold, but magazines tend to pile up and this way is a ‘greener’ option for me.
I love using Notes for my pattern writing, I used to write all my patterns out by hand and then had to retype them. So this is great for that.
I don’t own a laptop which is why I probably enjoy the iPad so much:)
xo
I love the cowl. And I have been thinking about an ipad for a while. I have a nook color, which I really like, and can do quite a bit on. And I have my laptop, which seems to always be available to me, so I don’t know if I would use the ipad as much as I think I would 🙂
Your patterns are the best!!!! And now flowers! Can’t wait! I can just see a whole bouquet.
Thanks Steph!
I love the colors in your circumnavigate cowl!
Oh those flowers! So completely delightful!
I CAN’T WAIT for the Hippo to be complete AND I am counting the days till the E-Book of African Animals is available.
This week I am finishing your Elephant and I am working of a hexagon blanket.
Thank you so much Barb, you are so supportive, I really apprecaite your kindness:)
Please link your ele on Ravelry, I would love to see him.
xo xo
Maybe I should knit some of these since my real flowers are so fleeting…
those flowers look so pretty especially the poppy
Your cowl looks beautiful. I love the colors.
Oh what beautiful knits. I am so impressed you design patterns too. Your flowers are quite lovely. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Linda,
You are sooo creative and smart! Your flowers are wonderful. Hmmm you have given me some things to think about regarding the ipad.
warm wishes,
Tonya
Love the flowers!!! And the cowl looks amazing.
A book how fabulous! Your cowl looks lovely and soft too 🙂 I love my ipad as well, so good for reading in bed and taking knitting patterns with me….no more scrappy bits of paper!
Hi Linda, How amazingly talented and creative you are, you never cease to amaze me xxBrenda
Congrats on the ebook! How awesome. Those flowers are so cool.
I think an ebook would be just awesome. I was thinking the other day I needed to make knit some flowers to put on our little festivities stand. These are so perfect. Your cowl is looking just lovely. 🙂
All of this designing and recording and composing and learning – and raising wonderful kids, too – not to mention keeping chickens and a bike riding man. Brilliant.
