The Best Day Ever…

Today was the best day ever… Today was my 37th birth-day 🙂

I think I loved it more than any birthday I have had. I woke up early to find that everyone was awake way before me and they had been busy creating a special birthday table just for ME! This was so wonderful, we love birthdays here and we always prepare a special table for every birthday. But today there was a table prepared for me…

I wondered what Jen was making last night and to my surprise, she was making me my own felt birthday crown… Precious… I just love that my children enjoy these special celebrations and I can see that this tradition will continue with them for when they themselves have their own families someday. I love this continuity of family tradition…

I had a lovely breakfast and then Jen began to bake me a cake…

I was taken to brunch by a specail friend, came home and was generally doted on for the rest of the day… I feel so humbled by everyones kindness and this made me think about how much has changed in my life over the last year… I have made lovely friendships, learned sooo much about so many things and know that my journey has yet many paths to travel. I look forward to the future eagerly and know that my next year will bring even more joy and life lessons my way…

I feel so privilaged to be a part of my wonderful family and to have all the special people in my life that are all so wonderful, thank you so much…
