Well done to Tammy http://laughlivelearnlove.blogspot.com/for winning my Midnight Mare knitted Horse Giveaway! Thanks so much to everyone who entered and for all your wonderful and kind comments 🙂
A sleeping Puma

Tiger
We even got to see them taking a Honey Badger for a walk, he was so playful and decided to climb up the wall.
This is Jenna’s handspun, she is doing so well, I definately think we will be needing a second spinningwheel… LOL
Erin is planting the Pansies she chose…
The chickens all came out to help…
This is our new chicken, called Puddles, she is quite a character and so friendly, if we sit down outside, she hops on our laps and goes to sleep… Erin with her knitting and Puddles on her lap…
New in the Mamma4earth shop… Pearl Unicorn
I have started spinning my own yarn to knit some of my toys, for me it just makes the creation process of my toys so much more special and really personal because they are knitted with my handspun yarn and will be one of a kind toys. This one of a kind Unicorn called Pearl, is knitted with white Alpaca that I spun up and plied with an Aquamarine Merino Tensel. She is so soft because of the Alpaca. The Aquamarine tensel gives her a shimmering magical quality, just like a Unicorn…
I am also having a Sale on my shop because of my shop’s birthday…

Have a lovely weekend everyone 🙂

Well, I’m very sorry about not winning the midnight mare. But I’m still getting a prize – just looking at the images of your life. The chicken in the lap – isn’t that the kind of thing that all the fantasy in the world really wants to add up to? And I look at your wools and marvel – how you can DO that. I thought only stores and factories and places inaccessible to real people could do things like that, but I had it the wrong way round.
Lovely.
I really enjoyed looking at the photos from the zoo. Wow, to see a puma that close up is so cool.
The yarn that you and Jenna spun is gorgeous. I’ve always wanted to try that but I’ve heard it’s difficult. I love the texture and colors.

Thanks so much for your very kind words, I really appreciate it 🙂

The zoo was amazing, thanks about the spinning, you must give it a try, it takes a little getting used to, but once you know how, it is like riding a bike 🙂
Those big cats at the zoo look so soft and cuddly. 🙂 I love the unicorn you made.
Hi Linds and Jen
Your wool is looking super. I know you have worked at it until you succeeded. Well done.
Quite an adventurous afternoony hey….
Have a great weekend

Those cats were amazing! Great pics. That unicorn is wonderful and I know a little girl of Tammy’s that is going to be thrilled with the winning prize!
What great photos! We visited a similar place in Oregon a few years ago and I got to hold a 7 week old brown bear!!! It was definitely one of the coolest things I’ve ever done! That is one happy hen!!!! Your unicorn is quite pretty!
I love Puddles 🙂 That is so sweet that she sits in your lap and falls asleep. And I loved the pictures of the rescue facility. The animals look very healthy and relaxed.
I finally am starting to join some blogs, so I’m linked to you – yeah! And of course, I’m off to check out your shop again. Like a kid in a candy store there!
Oh thank you so much Linda! You do such beautiful work, and the mare will have a happy life in our home. 😉
Puddles…a darling name for a chicken.
Dear Linda
So many happy pictures to enjoy! You certainly will need another spinning wheel in your home! Your yarn is looking so beautiful. I have been spinning in very intermittently of late. I must get round to spinning more and showing you some of what I have spun. Beautfiul unicorn. Such talent as always.
