Thanks for all your wonderful comments about Kye’s gnome hat, it is actually quite an amazing hat because this hat fits Kye, 3 and Erin, 10 so there is no real need to adjust the pattern as it is lovely and roomy.
We have found the first blossom on our Nectarine tree, Yay, Spring is on its way at last! We have been having rain all weekend, but that is wonderful for our veggies.
Jenna finished her knitted bag this weekend and now she is making a liner for her bag.
I have been spinning this weekend, I first spun up some Alpaca and then I spun up some varigated beige Merino and I plyed the two together, it is so soft, I might add it to my yarn shop, I’m not quite sure if I am ready to part with it yet though…, maby I will knit something with it, off to spin again today 🙂

Aaah…your etsy shop, lol. I love everything there. 🙂 The hedgehog sure is darling though!
Hi,
I love your shop! I’ve had my eye on your beautiful and inspired farmyard animals set since I joined up Etsy and was looking for beautiful things for my toddler… and now we’re on the same wonderful team! Your work is infused with a fresh, happy calm vibe – very positive. It shows in your photos and your descriptions (and your blog) and it’s really great energy. We’d love to have your lovely horse to horsey around with at home, as we are mostly using Waldorf-inspired toys and learning a lot about our local Waldorf school. Thanks… and look foward to working more with you on NaturalKids
!
I’m following you! I love everything in your shop, but the farmyard animals are my favorite. Unless my favorite is Star, with his needlefelted star. My ‘real’ horses want to play with him!
hi there! congrats on your blog bday!! i love the warmth and creativity that you share here. i don’t have to look at your shop to know my current faves…i have phillip the angora rabbit whom i adore!! i am also coveting seamus the sea turtle. 😉 i am now following your blog…though admittedly i am not entirely sure what that means!! 😉
Happy anniversary :o) yay one year. I lov eyour shop and I love your yarns :o) My 8yos favorite is the rainbow horse though :o)

Happy happy birthday mama!!!
What a lovely and sweet give away, I would be thrilled to have one of your gorgeous hand made creations in our home : ) I have been eyeing your farmyard animals in your etsy shop for quite some time and your veggies are also a favorite! Many blessings on your hand work sales, there is nothing like hand made with love for our children to play with. That is all that I buy (and make ourselves)
Happy Birthday! You have such a lovely shop. My son really loved the little hedgehog we bought a while back. That horse is so sweet!
Dawn, thanks so much about my shop, I am so glad you son liked his hedgehog 🙂
What a cute little mare! I can think of a nice home for him. We love our owl, but the hedgehog is awfully cute too. Your work is so wonderful, Linda! Congrats on one year at etsy!
Thanks Gardenmama and Joy, you both have such wonderful blogs, I love to visit them and you are both so kind 🙂
Thank you Treehuggingmom26, Nancy, we love your doll April that we bought from your Etsy shop, she is beautifully made and we will be back for another one soon:)
Would it be too boring to say the daylily yarn is my favorite? Well I do love your farm animals, the felted veggies are cute, but I really love the sweetness of that little bird nest. Congratulations on your year of success!!
Oh, how glad I am I found your site! I came through Narsingh’s “Teaching Handwork” blog. Love, love, love all your yarn goodness. Many blessings! Cadi
As I cruise Etsy, which I continue to do, in spite of the fact that I’d have to be rich as Solomon to collect in body all that I collect in favorites – I find myself clicking on delightful things and ending up right back on your shop. We homeschooled our four children also – who are now quite grown – an MBA, a video producer, an Archeologist and an animator. But the very best thing about them is that they are sweet, honest, fun, bright and really, really good friends.
We didn’t know about Waldorf, but we were not far off that philosophy.
Thank you so much for putting these lovely things on line to inspire and refresh – and on the way, make me a covetous mess.
Favorite: (As if I could choose one) The suffolk sheep, the rainbow horse, the Shabby sweet donkey, the farm animals sets – they are all my favorite –
Thanks, Linda!!
Your etsy shop is just gorgeous! My favorite is your Suffolk Sheep with the lovely black faces. But the white squirrel is a close second place.
Renee,
Thanks so much, the Daylily is a lovely colour 🙂

Jenna’s bag turned out so good! I love that pattern.
I think my favorite item in your Etsy shop is the Handspun Merino Nobbly Yarn. Looks delicious 🙂
Midnight Mare is lovely.
Yeah for your first year!!!! Your esty shop is filled with such magical things. I played with some of the things Tammy has for her little girl when we visited and I could tell they were made with such love. The mare is amazing. I love the hedgehog too!
Happy 1st Birthday Linds
Your shop has done so well. I know you have such a passion for knitting. I think you have touched many lives with your treasures.
Have a lovely day my friend

Hi,
Happy Birthday! I have been following your blog for some time now and absolutely love it. Although my home schooled son is now all grown up, I still love to make Waldorf toys and find your blog constantly inspirationally.
In your Etsy shop, I particularly love the brown Icelandic sheep – the natural stripey-ness is wonderful. I look forward to following your adventures with great pleasure. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Happy B-day to your Blog! And Happy Spring 😉 Sounds funny to say that!
Your shop is so cute! But I really love the farm animal set and the little hedgie has a place in my heart. I owned a real live one years ago! Those little guys are so funny!

How does someone pick a favorite? I love the wool kitten. I am tempted by the roving veggies, but most of all by the knitted farmyard animals. I’ve been saving up for them. I have your blog bookmarked so I can enjoy often and of course, if I was so fortunate, me and my little girl would cherish your Midnight Mare. Congratulations on your milestone! Cathy
My littlest just rode a pony for the first time while we were on vacation and is now in love with anything that resembles a pony! This would be sure to be her new favorite toy! I’ve been watching your animals online for awhile and making my wishlist for the holidays!
Happy Birthday, I can’t tell you how many times I have started and ripped out the stitches of an animal from Anne Dorthe Grigaff’s book. Still learning to knit. I still have you bookmarked because I am crazy about your hedgehog but the gnomes are so cute as well. The gnomes have a whole shelf on the bookcase but the fairies are vying for more space.
Congrats on being One year Old–LOL
Blessings,
Tracy
My 4 year old was helping me decide….she loved the suffolk sheep family and the little mouse (she says we need a “clean up” mouse). I am now a follower of your blog…any posts on how you started your chickens?
blessings
Goldenbird, Jen will be so excited you like her bag, thank you 🙂
Suzanne, thank you for your lovely, kind comment, it really means a lot to me 🙂

Congratulations, Linda!! Your shop is a wonderland and your creations are magical. I can’t pick ONE fav… If I HAD to narrow it down, it would be the squirrel, the ponies, the chickens, the sheep, the hedgehog, the gnomes…

Happy Birthday to Mamma4Earth!
Hi there, I just found your blog today thought another crafty blog. It seems this time of year is interesting time for birthdays. My birthday is coming up this Sunday. Though I hate getting older, I just love birthdays. 🙂 I am following you and just took a look in your blog and it was honestly hard to just pick one item. But I must say I love your albino squirrel. Such a cutie. Well all your stuff is. 🙂 But I had no idea you could knit such cute things. I thought you’d have to crochet to form such cute things. You have given me some food for thought and I am off to see what I can create with my beginners knitting skills. 🙂
Oh I love all your things.:-)
I like the rainbow gnome. 🙂 Thanks for the chance.
Happy birthday Mamma4earth! My girls and i love your farm animals! i like the goose the best, i think – it’s hard to choose.

I’ve visited your etsy store before and I love your beautiful handwork. Your farmyard animals are terrific, and I love that woodland gnome! I would love to give your beautiful horse a new home, thanks for the chance to win! Congrats on your blog anniversary.
