I have just received the most stunning skein of Merino yarn that has been plied with silk and a strand of crystal beads plied into the skein from http://www.nurturingfibres.etsy.com/…. So soft and stunning, I had to knit it into something immediately… I thought a Kerchief Scarf would be wonderful for this soft skein, here it is almost finished…

Erin was quite excited about knitting a Kerchief and she went to our wool stash straight away, chose a skein, wound it into a ball of yarn and she was off, knitting one for herself…
We all sat under the Oak tree in the back garden and knitted in the sun today, it was lovely…
New Life in our garden…
our Loquats are almost ready…
Yay, I was so excited to see our asparagus sprouting!
I had to include this… Charlie sleeping in front of the fire on Richard’s shoe…
I am having a yarn giveaway in the previous post, just page down and leave a comment to enter…

The kerchief scarf is lovely, isn’t that yarn just scrumptious???
And the kitty…lol…I just love watching the positions our own kitties get into. 🙂
Hi Tammy,
I love the yarn.. thanks about the kerchief. Charlie is really a character…
That yarn is beautiful, and I love the kerchief scarf. I just remembered I have a pattern for one of those I bought at a yarn shop a few years ago– now I want to try it. Knitting under the oak tree does sound lovely.
What a nice knitting day you all had together!
Beautiful!! And does asparagus and loquats mean winter is coming to an end for you?
Thanks Goldenbird!
Hi Renee
Knitting days are wonderful!
Hi Jill,
It is still really cold here at the moment, I long for summer, but I think it is still way in the distance…
That kerchief is lovely, as is the yarn! Your asparagus looks quite tasty. Have a lovely week!
Hello Linds
I just love your scarf. The wool looks so soft. I could just snuggle with Charlie!
