Grizzly Bear Toy Knitting Pattern and a Giveaway

Today I have been working on a Grizzly Bear pattern, Grrrrrrrrrrrr…. I have had tremendous fun creating this little character and attempting to make him appear all bearish looking:)  I have knitted him in Elle Merino Brights wool because I thought the varigation of the wool was a nice bear colour and it has a slightly fluffy texture to it too… He is knitted on size 4mm / US 6 straight needles and he is knitted flat in one piece with shaping here and there.
His pattern will be going into my book:)

It hardly seems fair for me to enter again – but I’m going to. Linda – this guy is perfect. You have done an absolutely brilliant job of capturing the heaviness, the contour, the character of our northern bear. I am so proud of you, so impressed with your ability to use this linear art form to produce such vivid character and charm. You blow me away. We just got back from a week with my daughter – I’ll be putting up pictures for days. But i’m singing bass and lying on the couch, hoping to sleep the next two days away – and maybe wake up myself again –

What a fabulous creature you have created. I try to do this shaping kind of thing with a crochet hook but, sugar, you have it all over me with those knitting needles of yours. Lovely. I would so enjoy knitting this from your pattern. Thanks for doing the hard work for us.
