Creative Fridays

I’ve just finished making my custom order for a unicorn which I’m posting to the US today. I’ve knitted her in a handspun Merino silk blend that I spun up during last years Tour de Fleece. Pattern here, or if you’d like me to custom knit a unicorn for you, just let me know 🙂

We are experiencing extremely cold and wet weather here in SA, we usually have a dry winter but last night it poured! Great for the newly planted garden beds though:)

I’m almost finished knitting the flock of sheep for my HumanKind order, 10 sheep will be on their way by Monday. Sheep pattern is available here. It’s been really busy here, Jen and Erin have one more week left of exams and then we’re on holiday until sometime in July!! Yes!! I’m so looking forward to that. It’s also extremely cold here, winter started with a bang a few weeks ago and the temperature still hasn’t recovered. Caiden and Kye have been ill with the flu and hopefully I’ll manage to avoid it.

I’ve been knitting a sheep sample for the Human Kind group this past week, pattern is available for sale here. We have woken up to freezing weather today, 1 degree celsius!!! Richard went for a MTB ride at 4am this morning, I’m not sure how he coped but he seemed to:) I really hope we get snow soon, the last time it snowed here was in June 2007!
