I have been spinning up luxury yarns and also hand painting Merino yarn and having so much fun:) I don’t really post much about my shop, but it is a large part of my life and I really enjoy recording my progress here on my blog. I have been hand painting skeins and skeins of rainbow yarn and I just love it! Heidi is right, of course. What does “double knit” mean, Linda? I saw it at our little shop yesterday and wondered.
Now, I’m not sure that went through, so I’m going to try posting it again.

DK is thicker than Sport weight and thinner than Worsted yarn. Here is a nice comparison table with the types and weights of yarn.
