The Seaglass Cowl Pattern is Live

Mamma4earth Cowls

I am quite excited to announce that I have officially and humbly stepped into the world of knitted clothing design, (I am still designing animal patterns ;)) I have offered a few free cowl patterns on my blog previously but this is the first one that has been through a thorough test knit and is now available for purchase on Ravelry in my Mamma4earth Ravelry Store. The process has been wonderful, I have met amazing knitters and learned so much from them! I am very grateful for all the time and effort they put into helping me make this design everything I hoped it would be.

Seaglass 7

This cowl has been knitted in Nurturing Fibres Spaghetti Aran yarn, I love the colour and the name was suggested by a blog friend called Diana. I think the name is very fitting The yarn I have used here is a Merino, silk and kid Mohair blend but the cowl can be knitted in any similar suitable aran weight yarn.

This cowl is knitted in the round on circular needles. Itโ€™s a fairly simple project and is so exceptionally luxurious and warm.

The pattern can be purchased as a direct download on my Ravelry Storeย  or on my Etsy shop.

I just bought it and I can’t wait to start it. I think just about any weight yarn will work-can’t wait to check out the pattern stitches. I love that it will be pretty with variegated yarns, too.

Congratulations on your official entry into being a designer. I am fairly new following your blog, but I have enjoyed it. I love the Seaglass Cowl and the color is wonderful! I enjoy using variegated yarns, but this will also be fabulous in one color.
