I am quite excited to announce that I have officially and humbly stepped into the world of knitted clothing design, (I am still designing animal patterns ;)) I have offered a few free cowl patterns on my blog previously but this is the first one that has been through a thorough test knit and is now available for purchase on Ravelry in my Mamma4earth Ravelry Store. The process has been wonderful, I have met amazing knitters and learned so much from them! I am very grateful for all the time and effort they put into helping me make this design everything I hoped it would be.
This cowl has been knitted in Nurturing Fibres Spaghetti Aran yarn, I love the colour and the name was suggested by a blog friend called Diana. I think the name is very fitting The yarn I have used here is a Merino, silk and kid Mohair blend but the cowl can be knitted in any similar suitable aran weight yarn.
This cowl is knitted in the round on circular needles. Itโs a fairly simple project and is so exceptionally luxurious and warm.
The pattern can be purchased as a direct download on my Ravelry Storeย or on my Etsy shop.

Love it! Especially with that yarn. Lovely texture.
Thanks so much Kristi!!
Gorgeous! I used to do knitting patterns for shawls, gave that up to knit animals. ๐
Thanks Sara! Your animals are amazing though!!
Congrats Linda! It looks great and the colour is fantastic.
Thanks so much Andrea:)
It is just gorgeous! Love, love, love the yarn and the name!! I might have to head on over to etsy right now!!
Thank you so much Sherri:)
Lovely! I’m totally pinning this and adding it to my queue ๐
I just bought it and I can’t wait to start it. I think just about any weight yarn will work-can’t wait to check out the pattern stitches. I love that it will be pretty with variegated yarns, too.

Congratulations on your official entry into being a designer. I am fairly new following your blog, but I have enjoyed it. I love the Seaglass Cowl and the color is wonderful! I enjoy using variegated yarns, but this will also be fabulous in one color.
Congrats, Linda! Bravo, and good for you! I’m still working on your animals, but would like to make this cowl, too. Keep up the great work. Hope the Seaglass Cowl is very successful for you.
Thanks Ellisen!! ๐
