This is our simple little Advent wreath with the first candle lit for the first week of Advent. We are celebrating the kingdom of the stones and shells. Kye being the youngest, lights the first candle each night before we eat supper. Tomorrow we will do some rock painting and perhaps some other shell and stone related crafts.
Today we celebrated St Nicholas Day, we spent a lovely afternoon with friends, decorating biscuits and tonight I will read our children the story of St Nicholas.
Isn’t this season lovely? So much to do, crafting, gift and ornament making and beautiful traditions, it’s just wonderful…
