The Waldorf Homeschool Handbook and a Giveaway

Waldorf Handbook

When Valarie from Audrey Press contacted me about Donna’s blog tour for her new book, The Waldorf Homeschool Handbook, I was thrilled and honored to be a part of it! I have always loved the Waldorf philosophy of education and have used it in homeschooling our children and still use aspects of it today. When we began our Waldorf homeschooling journey a few years ago, there was so much information out there. I thought that if we had a few curriculums to choose from, it would give me a great source of information and would inspire me to build wonderful lessons. However, I soon discovered that too much information from different sources only caused confusion and I became overwhelmed.

What I like about Donna’s handbook, is that it’s clear and simple, it guides you through the planning process for your schooling with wonderful suggestions and her own experience and this will ensure that you don’t become trapped under a mountain of different curriculums unable to navigate your way back to shore.

Even though we have been homeschooling for a while now, I have found reading this Waldorf book very refreshing and I will be looking at our homeschooling from a different angle and  implementing a few of the suggestions offered. I feel that this book is such a gem not only for those new to Waldorf homeschooling but also for those who have been moving along the Waldorf path of a few years already.

Once you have read through this publication, you will have a clearer idea of what will work for you as a mother and teacher and what will work for your children. I also love that Donna has included a section about how important it is, that we as parents take time for ourselves each day to recharge and by doing this, be the best we can be for our families and ourselves.

Thank you Donna for offering us this guidance and for mentoring us on our journey…
