New Shark Pattern Design WIP

Shark PhotoI’m busy working on a new design at the moment for a shark, his name is Finn.

I’ve knitted him in a beautiful Nurturing Fibres worsted yarn, the design isn’t complete yet, I’m still busy with the mouth and lower fins. I need to come up with an idea for teeth that look realistic, hmmmm….

Anyway, I’ve cast on again today in a larger needle size to check the pattern and tension and then he will be test knitted. If you’d like to follow along on my Ravelry group for updates go here.

PS Happy Autumn Equinox to all in the South and Happy Spring Equinox to all in the North.

I love sharks! I’ve been fascinated by them since I saw Jaws at about 7 years old (when it came out)…Ive read all about them..visited aquariums to see them..can’t wait to see the final design…

Linda you know I am already in love <3 Gracey – oh my goodness your story somewhat mimics mine. I saw jaws around the same age while visiting Florida (from NY) and went searching the oceans for Jaws. My mom said I even sat and watched the credits to see who played jaws in the movie. Who knew such a film could spark my lifelong love and desire to protect sharks as well as allow me to pass this passion down to my son!
