Homeward Bound and Reading Wheat Belly

Wheat Belly

I know I’ve been posting SO many sea photos but I just had to post these too. This was the beautiful sunrise that greeted us at 6 am this morning before we left on our journey homeward. Seven and a half hours later, we are safely home again. I can’t believe how quickly our holiday passed! It just flew by but how wonderful it was. We have made some lovely memories to treasure for the rest of our lives and happy experiences are more important to me than any material possession.

I actually captured a photo of a whale’s tail! I waited for the right moment for days and missed each time and then, yesterday, I got it! Such a special moment indeed.

I have also been completely and utterly taken with this book Wheat Belly, oh my goodness, I am totally shocked at how disastrous wheat is for our health, I can’t put this book down, I literally carry it everywhere with me, just in case there are a few spare moments to open it and learn more…! This book has so much mind-blowing information, I think it’s one of the most important books I have ever read!

Post as many sea photos as you want… I’m needing an “ocean fix”!

They had a report about this book on our local radio station just yesterday. What coincidence! The NPR (nation public radio) reporter’s opinion appeared kind of split. They said there is not just ONE kind of evil food…I will see if I can get it from the library. Sounds like an interesting read.

I so wish I had realized that I couldn’t tolerate wheat at a much younger age. I wouldn’t have had a lifetime of serious chronic illness.
