Apple Pattern

This little apple pattern has been trending on Ravelry for about a week now, so I thought I would just say a big thank you here, to everyone who has written to me regarding this pattern, such lovely emails and messages, it’s wonderful thank you!

Caiden has been very ill with flu this week and I feel as if I’m getting sick too, achy body and extreme tiredness. Jenna and Erin have just begun their grade 9 and 10 test series, they have been working so hard. Our lovely teacher has fallen pregnant with her first child, I am so thrilled for her that she is starting a family! She will be leaving us to begin her wonderful journey as a mama. Goodness, we are going to miss her, she is truly a very special person, she has such a kind heart and is loved by all of our children.

It was also my dear Dad’s first anniversary this past week, I can’t believe how time has flow, it still feels like yesterday though, we miss him… My mom is doing very well, she has settled into her retirement home and has made friends and has just knitted me a beautiful cardigan, I think she will be bringing it over tomorrow, I can’t wait to see it!!

This coming weekend will be my Mom’s 80th birthday and Cady’s 12 birthday, lots of preparation ahead.

Happy Thursday to you, friends.

Happy Birthday to the two lovely ladies celebrating. Hope Cady feels better in time to enjoy festivities.

Apples are my favorite fruit and this year our two young Gala trees did not disappoint. I love their bounty and have shared it with many neighbors. The nine-month old I nanny has cut his first four teeth on fresh Galas and likely will be a lifelong fan of the glorious fruit.
