I Love…

I Love how nature manifests itself, if you look closely at this photo below of these beautiful Primula flowers, to the right of the photo you will see a sweet little Primula plant that has grown from seed all by itself. When I noticed it the other day, it made my heart swell with happiness to think how wonderful that this tiny plant, had overcome all obstacles and grown against the wall with just the tiniest amount of dust and soil, if any at all!

Here is a close-up of the little marvel… It makes me realise that sometimes when life feels tough and hard, there is always hope, and if there is hope, love and light will prevail:)

I love the Pansies that are starting to flower…

I love how these little Alyssum flowers have started to grow all over our driveway…
I love our warm fires at night to take the chill off the almost Spring air…

I love these beautiful items my mother-in-law gifted me with today, they are motifs, they belonged to her grand mother and are over 50 years old. Oh what joy! I adore them…

Embroidery…

I have also been given these wonderful vintage crochet books. I am so very grateful to her for passing these beautiful and precious treasures down to me…(Thank you mom:)

and of course, I Love Charlie… yes, even when he decides to sleep in our drying towel drawer:)

the motifs are beautiful but even more so is your saying “ometimes when life feels tough and hard, there is always hope, and if there is hope, love and light will prevail” – I needed to see/read/hear that today – thank you xx

Your motifs reminded me of a friend who gave old sewing patterns of her mothers to another friend – who found that the patterns were her mother’s hiding place! At last count, they’d found over $1500!

But I came here to thank you for your photos and comments, I sometimes peek and come back when I can savor it – you center me on a regular basis, thank you!

I am cheering wildly for that brave and resourceful primula from all the way over here.

(And I am also jaw on the floor that you are frogging the Shalom. Aaaargh!).

I’d like to comment on each individual picture, but it might suffice just to say “I love all of that too!”

I’ve been feeling very much that way today myself. The flowers blooming here too. Gifts in the form of a helping hand or enlightened conversations. The words “I love you” from my two sweet little guys.

I loved your post ~ especially the ‘hope’ful words around the primula. Wonderful, as always.

    Thanks again Linda!
