Painting…

While we were out at our local craft / stationery shop I bought a few mounted painting boards and some acrylic paints for our children to paint with. I thought it would be a lovely idea for them to sit outside in the garden and paint with inspiration from their surroundings… I love what they came up with. They took their time and really enjoyed the process adding in tiny details to their blank canvas…

I have also started saving seeds for our next planting season, these pumpkins were so sweet and delicious and can’t wait to plant them next year…

Mamma4earth Giveaway

Hello everyone, from a cold and rainy South Africa! Our weather has really been strange lately, usually by this time of year, it is cold and dry but we are experiencing rain. I am not complaining though, it’s wonderful for the veggies.

    I take care of Toddlers for fun and fortune and would love to knit them stuffed animals. I have been crocheting for many years and would love to pick up my knitting needles again. Thanks fort he giveaway.

    Here in Florida, it’s weirdly cool today. We’ve had the air conditioning on for more than a month. But yesterday we opened the windows and wow! It’s gorgeous out! It’ll be back in the 90s by the end of the week, though.

    Love these patterns to bits – drooling over the unicorn got me signed up to you in the first place, and the giraffe reminds me of the April Fools prank that Wingham Wools played on their mailing list this year – giraffe fibre for spinning, comes out in giraffe pattern… well it amused me!

    I have entered before, second time the charm? Would love all of your patterns. Wish I had the time. Maybe when I retire. I try to make a knitted toy each year for each grandchild so am looking for ideas. Keep up the incredible creativity. Becky

    I just discovered this blog after researching knitting patterns on etsy. I am a Waldorf early childhood teacher in the south side of Chicago. I knit animals for each my students’ birthdays….always looking for new ideas & really love the ones you have created.
