We have had so much rainfall over the last few weeks… Floods in Pretoria yesterday which is about 30 minutes away from our home, so many people have lost their lives here in South Africa from all the rain, it is so very sad…
All over the southern hemisphere there has been so much tragedy, our thoughts are with all of you…
I wanted to post something uplifting, I thought, colour would be good… some colour for the soul…
Hibiscus

Wishing you a day full of colour and happiness…
Beautiful – perfect for our gray day here.
Thank you for the color. We are having a snowy grey day here, so color was just what I needed.
Blessings, Elizabeth
Olive is so beautiful! We have two cats (out of nine – all indoor) that look similar: a huge male named Pilot and a not-as-huge female named Surreal. (:
And hibiscus! Oh, how I love those flowers! I have two hibiscus plants in my front yard but I don’t think they get enough sun – lots of leaves and no flowers.
And to you too my friend. Another gorgeous post!! 🙂
So vibrant!
Thank you, I needed that.
Wishing you colour, and a happy moon time. xx
I’ve been so sad hearing about all of the flooding all over the southern half of the world…and keeping everyone effected in my prayers and thoughts. The gorgeous pics you posted today were so timely..you are right, color is what we all need! We are very gray, cold, rainy AND snowy here right now, those lovely peeks of green and orange and raspberry are just beautiful…thanks for sharing!
Such beautiful photos!
Dear Eidolons,
Thanks so much:)
Olive is so sweet, she is tiny… I love Hibiscus flowers, their colours are so deep and beautiful:)
Take care
Linda
Dear RoseMamie,

Lots of prayers and warm thoughts. We went through a flood a few years ago and had to leave for awhile.
Color is just what is needed.
Always think lovely thoughts…it warms the heart
Oh, Linda. I’d forgotten. I think I’m crying here for a moment. How beautiful.
I don’t understand how this rain has come. And who would have dreamed people in Africa would die of a surfeit of rain? I know so little.
I watch the river behind our house with a careful eye. It’s controlled by a dam – two dams – but it’s as full now as it usually is in the spring mountain run-off. I think they at the dam are preparing –
Lots of drizzly rain here the past few days. Color and brightness are always appreciated.
Beautiful! Have yourself a wonderful day!
Ah, that color! like a dose of good medecine
Oh, my colour-thirsty eyes are satisfied now! Our part of Canada is monochromatic with snow, snow, and more snow these days. Thanks so much!
beautiful, especially that last photo:)
The green is so so good, thank you. I love the picture outside your kitchen door!
Love to you dear Linda!
Thank you for the colorful and uplifting photos. Olive is a cutie! And I love that pic of the rose.
Oh how glorious – the hibiscus especially.
What lovely colors and inspiring photos! It’s dreary winter where I am in the Eastern U.S., and I needed the jolt!

That color is just what I need today here where it is grey/sleety/slushy/ugh. A reminder that spring will come again after the earth wakes up in a few months.
Gorgeous images!
