Hello,

I’ve been knitting up a storm and have really loved designing Henrietta the Hedgehog, we will have a test knit of the pattern soon on my Ravelry group.

Our Spring garden is bursting with beauty and the most gorgeous variations of the colour green. I just love it!! Above is the beautiful Petria creeper in full bloom, takes my breath away…

A few eggs collected from our chickens yesterday, some are brown, some are white, others cream and of course slightly speckled.

Here is our precious girl Delilah lying on the couch in our bedroom this morning on her favourite blanket…

Today I am grateful for:

My family, helpful people, friends, our health, our beautiful pets, clean running water and food to eat each day. What are you grateful for today?

Gratitude Monday

Today I am grateful for:

~ My wonderful and healthy family.

~ Knitting in the warm sunshine.

~ Everything that we have.

~ Richard’s return home tomorrow. (I miss him)

~ Reading knitting books on my i-pad.

~ A solution for Jen’s grade 10 Maths and Physics! (So relieved about this!)

~ A warm fire.

~ My mom’s stories about her life when she was young.

~ This space.

Chicken Love

Our garden is almost back to normal, we have emptied so many bags of leaves onto the compost heap since the storm. I went down to our little orchard to check on the fruit and it looks like every piece has been hit by hail, the only survivors are the raspberries and of course our veggies as they were under cover, thank goodness! Even though our garden has been shredded by this storm, we have so much to be grateful for.

Our sweet feathered girls greeted us when we returned home from grocery shopping this morning, aren’t they just the sweetest?
