Yesterday…

During our nature walk in our garden yesterday, Jenna and Erin discovered these Millipedes, they were quite taken with them and so we found out a few interesting facts. There are about 10 000 named species of Millipede and the millipede that has the most legs has 375 pairs of legs. The longest known Millipede was 1.8 metres or 6 feet long. We studied them for a while and then they crawled off on into the garden again.

There were many preparations yesterday for Guy Fawkes and while the bonfire was being prepared the heavens above were putting on a marvellous show of colour, I had to capture it on film. It is the kind of colour, that when you look at it, it moves deep within you so that you can actually feel it filling your soul…

Once the sun had set the clouds took on a beautiful hue of white and charcoal grey, quite breathtaking…

Our bonfire that Jen, Erin and Kye built… Caiden was so ill yesterday that he missed out on building the fire, he feels a little better today though. My sweet boy…

Later, we all sat around the fire and sang songs, roasted marshmellows and made smores, soon afterwards, the skies opened and wonderous rain poured down…

My new Winter Pegasus horse…
Have a wonderful weekend.
