Hello friends,
I’ve finished knitting the body for my large Spring horse, just need to sew her up and finish her off. She is going to be quite big and a lovely toy to carry around. Her pattern will be available soon on Ravelry.
I love horses! I started riding when I was about eight years old, my dad used to take me down to the stables for a riding lesson every Saturday, it was pure joy! I continued to ride for many years after that, I would enter shows for dressage and show jumping and only stopped when I was pregnant with Jen. Such fond memories…

Linda, my favorite person in the whole world, Emerson, is all about everything horses, and now I see your newest creation; I look forward it’s release so I can knit one for her.
You are amazing!
Have a great weekend.
Thank you dear Tracey!
Have a lovely weekend.
🙂
I cannot wait to see your horsey finished. One of my favorite toys as a child was a green vinyl hand-stitched horsey that my Grama had in her toy closet. Horseys give a child so much inspiration for imaginary stories. All your toys are great. Thank you for hosting this gathering of craftiness. Have a great weekend everybody!
That looks very cute!
Thanks for hosting!
The horse is looking good! Can’t wait to see it finished.
That horse looks super Linda, can’t wait to see it finished 🙂

It sure looks wonderful, cheers Marie
It looks amazing! May I ask what that gorgeous yarn is?
Love the horse, Linda, he’s delightfully Spring-like in his coloring and I bet his personality will Shine when you apply his features. Happy Ides of March from our home to yours. Thanks for hosting Creative Friday. I have a finish for today-a flimsy for a cherished friend.
