More Hail and Some Knitting

Hail

At 2am this morning we woke up to what sounded like bullets hitting our roof. Once we were all awake, we realised we were in the throes of yet another hailstorm. We ran to see where all the cats were, the dogs were inside and thankfully so were our cats, safe but terrified!

I’m so glad we decided to cover our entire veggie garden with shade cloth, our veggies are all fine but the fruit trees are not. We had the first hailstorm just a few days ago and now to have another one so soon, just shows how our seasons have started leaning towards a more violent nature.

Delilah and Daisy came out to investigate the damage with me this morning.

And on the knitting front, I have a little Suffolk sheep who is almost ready to make her journey across the ocean to the USA.

Happy day to you…

The weather is so unpredictable all over the world now. We have had so much wind in the Pacific Northwest. Glad our veggies all survived!

Supercharged atmosphere gives us very unusual weather-stronger storms, steamier summers, wilder winters, shortened spring and autumn, insect infestations. It will be interesting to watch what the growing seasons do in response to the changes being wrought by our carbon footprints…
