Yet another Pickles project, this one’s for Jenna and she’s decided to call him Eugene! His pattern is available on Ravelry and Etsy. Thanks so much to the Three Black Sheep Yarn Shoppe for sharing about him on their Facebook page, so kind!
I’ve started dreaming up an owl design, not sure of the colour I’m going to be knitting him in yet, perhaps you can give me a few suggestions? He is also going to be a big fella like Pickles.
We did have that rainstorm I was hoping for yesterday, we woke up to thunder and steady rain this morning, it was wonderful! Everything looks so fresh and clean outside, I’ve taken plenty of photos and will share them soon…
Off to look after Richard, he rode in that rain this morning with 10 other riders, he has come home freezing. The fire is lit and he’s had a hot bath, my poor sweet love…

The cat is just soo cute! I love the colour. Can’t wait to see what colours you choose for the owl.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Pickles is so very cute, must be great to cuddle him:)
Thanks for hosting Creative Friday!
Love the color if this Pickles! Goes with the name! I didn’t enter the giveaway since Ijust won, but I love this pattern!
I love that green color. The cat looks so soft. I am sure it would make a nice pillow and travel companion.
My first thought for an owl was purple. If you want to go more subtle, then brown, or gray?
That is one cute kitty!
Lovely colourway! Would be nice to see beans and pickles next to each other!
How about a grey/white colourway for a snowowl?
Have a lovely weekend!
He’s so cute. I think he would make the loveliest door stop. Would just need to fill him with something a bit heavy.
I think white with gray – snow owl – would a great colour, alternative would be a royal blue. Depending on whether to make it look natural or fun. 🙂
pickles is sooo cute!
Ooooh, a big owl project in the works? I have had to take a break from knitting (arthritis) so I haven’t even finished with the last batch of patterns I bought, bought a big owl…that would tempt me!
