Kye was keen to grow some veggies/herbs the other day, so Erin found these sweet containers that have worked perfectly. They look so pretty on the kitchen window sill and make me smile each time I walk into the room. She just made a few holes at the base of each tin to allow for drainage, filled them with composted sand and then Kye chose four different lots of seeds. We have carrots, peppers, parsley and tomatoes happily growing in a sunny spot:)
Today was also the last day of their hockey season and Kye and Caiden both received medals at the prizegiving this morning. It has been freezing here over the past two days, yesterday we had 40km winds blowing! Richard and I are on day 7 of our Whole30, I must admit I’m missing my tea with xylitol and milk the most, I’m craving it actually but I’m staying strong! I had so much energy today, I felt like I could go for a run! Feels good. I made a delicious mince curry for supper, I also cooked sweet potatoes and made mash and had the curry as the topping. I will be making this again.
Hope you are having a lovely weekend…

Those containers are great! I Have to think about something for my herbs:D
