Creative Friday

Needle Saver / Book

Thanks so much for your lovely comments about my little Nativity Set, I really appreciate it!!! I have had many knitters write to me asking about the scale of the other farm animals and them fitting in with the nativity set. I have been working on the the donkey pattern so far and if he is knitted in a thin DK yarn with 3mm needles, he is the perfect scale for the nativity. I will be working on the rest of the patterns over the weekend and will be updating the animal sizes, yarns and needles sizes over on the Nativity Set thread on my Ravelry group. I think thas will be the best place to keep all the information together.

Happy knitting!

Hi Linda, it’s been a long time since I’ve stopped by with some creativity here!! We are so busy right now that I have barely enough time to write a blog post let alone read others or create beautiful things!! But today I’ve managed both!
Congrats on your knitting book – what a great achievement!

love the needle book; one day, I hope to make one. 😉 We have been knitting a bit lately – getting some hats and scarves and things to donate to hurricane victims and such. We have been enjoying that. It is proving to be very good for us, improving our meager skills, and just giving us some quiet time to knit together and engage in some very soothing activities.
