The foliage in our garden is slowly turning to yellow, such a welcome sight, I adore Autumn with all its shades and colours…

I love;
The cooling down of days
Going for walks through the fallen leaves
Roasting marshmallows with our family
Soon, to be knitting near a warm fire
Collecting kindling
Feeling cozy inside our warm home
Planting winter veg
Making many different soups

Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.

    I am also eagerly awaiting Autumn, it is my favorite season!! You are not already lighting fires are you?? We can feel a cooler air in the early mornings, but it is still so hot during the day!!

    We’re just laughing. I will NEVER get over the juxtaposition of our seasons. And the seasons are SO emotionally powerful to me, when I read about yours, I become chemically disoriented. I was just shooting our emerging crocus and your dreaming of fires and falling leaves makes me very confused. But how wonderful, as my husband says, to be in real-time contact with someone who is living a very real life that is the flip side of ours (in a few ways, anyway). No one should EVER consider that what they are experiencing can be called “normal,” or that their situation is every person’s. We can be such good, striving people and still have lives that are wildly and significantly different. When we hitch our sense of safety on some concept of “this is right” (and I am not talking in terms of human ethics, really, but in situations), we are on shaky ground.

    I have been reading so many things this morning that have given me things to think about –

    I love autumn too, but we are now gearing up for summer. If this winter is anything to go by, it’s going to be a doosey! Enjoy your beautiful weather!

    Knitting by the fire sounds divine!
    Although, I am enjoying hand-sewing by the pool, just as much. *wink*

    I’m loving the change in weather as Autumn greets us. A fireplace is on our “dream house” musts. Enjoy yours as the days get shorter and colder : )

    And here in our neck of the woods the bulbs are starting to peek their little green stems out of the ground all over. The trees look like they are starting to awaken and the birds in the morning…… the birds are starting to come back and they are announcing their arrival lest we somehow over look.

    Seasons changing…… I love living where I can see the changing of the seasons…
