Sunday Snapshots…

We have been spending so much time outside today, Caiden even had a swim! Richard has been working on another little tree house for Kye and I have been enjoying the sunshine…

Our plum tree just burst into blossoms all at once…

The young egg layers versus the old egg layers…

Our quaint orchard…

The raspberries have gone from dead looking sticks to luscious green…
I took this photo lying down in the knot garden today, the green is just so beautiful, it soaks into your soul…

This is our herbal knot garden, we have slowly been restoring it since we moved here a few years ago. It has a Bay tree in the centre and various other herbs in little beds with pathways in between. I love this spot in our garden and I am going to extend the veggie growing into this area amongst the herbs. I think that would work well.

The platform has been straightened and a pole has been added for support, so sweet…

Sandy constantly collects all her toys and always keeps them close…

I love this wall, I think it has been here since the house was built in 1928…

Have a peaceful Sunday and week:)

Such a beautiful garden! I have wanted an herb garden like yours and interspersed with lemon trees and veggies for as long as I can remember. And that wall! So wonderful. Happy Sunday to you.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful and bountiful photos. I love the bench in the tree. As a tree-dweller, i would spend as much time as I could there. Your sunshine invites bare feet.

Oh how absolutely lovely! It’s autumn here in Europe so the blossoming orchard is something to envy nearing the long and very monotonous white of the winter. And I just love your blackboard! I’ve just decided I need one, too.

It is absolutely lovely, I agree. It was only a few short months ago that we were witnessing something similar. Instead our raspberries are starting to look like sticks agin…

I’m rather taken with your herb garden, Linda, and would love to see some more of it! And I do love your wall too – theres something about an old rock wall ….maybe a feeling of solidity?

very lovely…we had raspberries at our house. They went crazy..in a good way. I called on everyone and had a cane digging party. Everyone got a sack full of canes and I still had to put some in the compost. But I got gallons and gallons of raspberries.

My boys always love EVERY post about your chickens. But Today – I think the photos of the Tree House have come out on top. Oh how they would love to be let loose at your house (me too!) ღAleta

It feels so ironic – here I was this morning pulling UP green things – noxious things in the pasture that have run riot as I lived this too much life lately. And I’m yearning for red and yellow and orange – as you are posting your celebration of that fresh green popping out all over your yard. What a planet!
