I have been busy with this little fellow, I should have finished him ages ago but there are also so many other things that need doing each day, but today he is done! I have knitted him in the round with the Magic Loop and other parts of him are knitted flat. A few people prefer to knit flat and not use the round and really, you could just knit the pattern back and forth on straights instead of joining for the round and then just sew up the back when you are finished:) You can easily convert a round pattern to a flat one this way:) Most of my patterns that are knitted in the round can be converted…(Good news hey?)
So this little knitted penguin has been knitted in DK yarn, I have just needle felted his eyes, beak and the black strip on his head. When he is knitted up he measures about 3.5 inches tall. He doesn’t play in the snow as he is an African Penguin. Oh yes, his pattern will be avaliable in my Etsy shop today…
Take care everyone and have an inspirational day!
I am so looking forward to visiting your blogs tomorrow for Creative Friday:)

So cute! Definitely the cutest knit penguin I’ve ever seen. 🙂 Bravo!
I love him! He’s very sweet…
It’s Happy Feet! I love your penguin!
He’s a cutie, Linda! I saw real African Penguins in San Francisco last year. Before that I didn’t even know they exist.
Hi Linda! He is so sweet and looks beautiful on the sand!
Sunny wishes!
Oh my gosh I wish I knew how to knit my girls would flip for these they LOVE penguins and all things Penguins!!!
Will this little guy be in your book as well? Looking forward to your book coming out. Do you know about when? 😀
Oh the fatness. Perched in the hand, he’d be about the most satisfying palmful ever. Good-on-ya again! Clever girl. Never a misfire. I am delighted again.
I LOVE him! Just perfect 🙂
I think it is weird to put a restriction like “you can’t sell anything made from this pattern” on a pattern that one has to pay for. If it was a free pattern that you didn’t want people to make money off of, that would make more sense. The no-resale rule makes sense. But telling people they aren’t allowed to sell their own hard work because they followed a set of knit and purl stitches that they paid you for seems kinda silly.
It is your pattern so you can put whatever restrictions on it you want. I just thought that was odd.
