Homemade playdough is so much fun. We made some a few monthes back and it is the best playdough ever!
Thanks Linda, this is a lovely recipe to have, and looks to be very easy to make…
Love,
Heidi
It looks great ….just don’t leave the house when it’s on the table..we used to have two miscreant hounds who ate the entire stock we’d made (No it didn’t kill them off thank goodness)the results were unforgetable… suffice to say just don’t let it happen to you! You REALLY don’t want to know what I mean lol
We make very similar handmade play dough – it’s wonderful and last a long, long time in the fridge. We use natural food colorings – the colors are less bright, but they are still beautiful.
How fun! My kids are home on spring break and the world is covered in snow! Snow I tell ya! Snow in April! So we’re indoors today and I’m thinking…..making some play doh sounds like a fun way to spend the day! Thank you for this.
Ummm ok, how did you read my mind?! This morning K and I were talking about making our own playdough and I was telling her I need to lookup a recipe and then poof, here it is!! Thank you! XO
I have made so many batches of play doh in my 21 years of mothering. I just sent the recipe to my sister in law yesterday. Isn’t it fun and so creative. Love the colors.
I feel a bit silly, but I didn’t know you could make homemade Playdough. I thought you could only buy it from the store! The colors are so pretty. Looks like a fun project!
Oh that takes me back to when my big girl was wee. We used to make playdoh together but we caled it aromadoh – I added a few drops of calming essential oils to the mix -rose geranium to pink, lavender to purple, jasmine to yellow – that kind of thing mmmmmm i can smell it now. Thank you for sparking such a wonderful memory. xS
Isn’t it against some planetary law to share secrets like this? I thought you could only buy these kinds of things in cans at the store. Won’t the world be shaken if the run of the mill person can make his own?
