I loved this sentence of yours, “I believe it is this gentleness that resonates with the heart of a child causing the child to want to experience this toy over and over again and hold it close.”
Nicely done. I had to fight my fifty year old sister off of one of my Waldorfish horses, so it isn’t only children who want to hold them close.
