Our plum tree is just bursting with ripe and over ripe fruit at the moment and we have left quite a few plums on the tree for the birds to enjoy… Today, as I was walking around our garden, I noticed that the bees were drinking the juice from these plums too… It was wonderful to witness these amazing creatures quietly going about their work…

have a great weekend!
Beautiful shot!
What what a gorgeous shot. Enjoy you weekend!
IT looks like they are having a great treat. Have a good weekend and lovely photograph.
So nice to have such an abundance! Now you, the birds, and the bees can ALL share in the sweetness.
These beautiful photos made me feel so “summery” inside. Ahhh – now for a glass of iced tea and a book in the shade…
Back to my reality I will enjoy our present snow, maybe some hot cocoa, and snuggle up under a blanket and read the little ones a book…
Sure would like to taste one of those plums though.
Namaste.
It is a beautiful shot. But I find myself hoping you had a long lens to take it with. Those are very large bees. I love bees. But only from a distance. I respect them too much to crowd their space. The fruit – oh, the freshness of it.
